Our group is growing rapidly, and we are currently seeking a full-time, Business Development Representative to join our team. This is a critical role and requires this individual to work onsite at our new Burlington, MA office.
This position is direct hire, no third parties please.
Clymb Clinical is looking for a Business Development Representative to create new business opportunities. To be successful in this role, you should be coachable, eager to learn, and hungry for a career in sales. You will use your communication skills to cultivate meaningful relationships with prospects from first contact to initial conversation. Responsibilities
- 
o Demonstrated track record of 2+ years selling services into the biopharmaceutical, CRO, and/or life sciences industries. 
- 
o Maintain current and establish new connections in biopharmaceutical industry including persons in biostatistics, statistical programming, and clinical operations. 
- 
o Experience managing RFI and RFP Processes with Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical and Medical Device companies for new opportunities. 
- 
o Experience maintaining a short and long term pipeline to ensure constant flow and growth across different functional units. 
- 
o Partner closely with Sales, Operations, and Marketing to collaborate on experiments and share learnings. 
- 
o Develop strong sales and product knowledge to create, educate, and qualify leads. 
- 
o Conduct qualifying calls with prospects to identify pain points within their business and effectively communicate the relevant information to the Account Executives. 
- 
o Sourcing pipeline via direct outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.) based on our prospect database and your own research. 
- 
o Helping grow the sales team and build a scalable, repeatable process. 
- 
o Perform other related duties as assigned. 
Minimum Requirements:
- 
o Bachelors or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS, or related field 
- 
o 2+ years of previous sales and/or marketing experience, preferably in services or software. 
- 
o Ambitious self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and building from the ground up. 
- 
o Comfortable conducting presentations effectively and professionally to various levels of management.
